The pupils of this rural village primary school were researching the history of the village as well as thinking about what they liked about living in Cockfield. Playing on the fell, horses, and pigeon coops feature as well as the school, church, chapel, and the Co-Op. The Cockerel, the school's emblem is in the centre of the piece and red tiles border the piece which is the school colour.
